The Daily Drum - is a live, hour-long daily news program featuring National and Local news and an interview segment, called Insight. The Drum has long been known as the first telegraph. A way our ancestors communicated before phones or even the telegraph. We know Washington DC’s news affects not just the region, but the world, so radio and television veteran Harold Fisher breaks the news you need to know. The first 30 minutes will be simulcast on WHUR-FM locally. The Daily Drum has been a primetime staple of Howard University radio for 39 years.
